Orange High-Waisted Pants

I am finally sharing one of my favorite date night looks with this little two-piece set from Amazon. I may not be the best Pinterest mom but I am the best Amazon Prime mom! And that gets me in trouble sometimes-when the hubs checks the mail and sees everything I bought and then texts you, “Merry Christmas!” Haha! That actually happened last week. Work hard, play harder right? All jokes aside, you guys know how much I rely on online shopping these days.

Amazon Prime is the best thing the internet has invented! The convenience of receiving your products in 1 or 2 days is heavenly when you are a busy working mom, that likes to dress up once in a while and stay somewhat stylish!

High-Waisted Everything

I wore these high-waisted pants and crop top  at the end of summer for date night with the hubs, but these orange pants are great for Fall too! I am a fan of all things high waisted-skirts, pants, slacks, shorts, you name it! Being 5’4” means creating illusions with outfits to make you appear taller than you really are. For some reason I have always wanted to be taller than what I am. I’m actually 5’3″ but I tell everyone I’m 5’4″ and it’s official if its on your Driver’s License, right?

How can I wear it?

I’m in love with how versatile this outfit is. It could totally be worn for work too-minus the crop of course.

Throw on a tucked in ivory blouse, pointy pumps, and a boyfriend blazer for a business look.

You could even add a long cardigan for a more casual look.

Affordable and Comfy

I am a big fan of affordable fashion that feels comfortable and makes you feel like a million bucks. This date night outfit does exactly that! The material of the pants is perfect too-silky soft but not see-through at all. As a mom and teacher that is constantly caring for others, it feels good to get dressed up and put on a little make up, do your hair, and put on a good pair of pumps for your night out! Thank you Amazon for this go-to outfit!

I almost forgot to talk about the belt it came with! I feel like the bow and belt really add a classy touch to casual vibe of the pants. I am flat like a tortilla on the rear and these pants definitely give you curves! I ordered some light gray pants just like this for winter too!
